Since childhood, Murakami has been heavily influenced by Western culture, particularly Western music and literature. His work has been described as 'easily accessible, yet profoundly complex'. But maybe you are going to take a month with each Gateway or you want to just write poetry in this journal, or you write 5 minute timed synopsis, there are many ways to utilize a journal such as this when on your healing journey. There also isn't very much space-about a page for each day, so this may or may not be a problem for you. ![]() It would not be useful to you if you do not have the book because it does not have very much written on the inside-just a few choice quotes for each Gateway.
